ADST and the BC Curriculum

“British Columbia’s New Curriculum was introduced in order for students to adapt to a changing world. Along with the foundational skills of literacy and numeracy, the Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (ADST) Curriculum focuses on designing and acquiring technology skills in an advanced and modern digital environment. ADST is divided into three sections: Grade K- 5 Foundations, Grade 6 – 9 Explorations and Grade 10 – 12 Specializations. More information about the ADST curriculum can be found on the BC Ministry of Education’s website: https://curriculum.gov.bc.ca/curriculum/adst” (“ADST and the BC Curriculum | Intro to Coding”, n.d.).
